Configue DSN on IPA

Configue DSN on IPA

Hi
I'll try to explain my problem.
I'm using IPA to log data on a external DB.
The zenOn project I'm talking about is a master project.
Each new project is created by a wizard from a master project in the technical office and is installed to final customer just replacing RT folder (startup tecnician doesn't have PC). This final customer PC has just run time license.
My problem is the DSN setup. Really DSN, in IPA setup, catch the information from DSN file and work with them. Doesn't work with that file, if information in the file change for example PC or DB, zenOn application still work with the first information (or this is what I have verified). So, if for example I install the project in a PC that has the same DSN file I selected in my office, the project in final installation will not work because the name of PC is not the same. I can't know the name of customer PC and specially, I can't prepare a DSN file without the DB to connect, or I don't not how to do this. Normally other application that I know, use DSN file, you setup DSN on final PC and application work with the information from DSN file.
Hoping to be clear enough, I'm waitin for comment
Thank you
