Changing contrast of a panel during runtime

Hello!
Does anybody know how to change Contrast (make it dimmer or lighter) of a panel during runtime? The panel on which the zenon project will run is Vipa. I have not found any standard functions to do that. Is it possible and how it can be implemented?
