Hello,
I have a question regarding archive configuration.
I have been studying the documentation and understand that there are three different archive recording modes. I carried out a test using the on-change recording mode (1-second sampling with the archive saved once per day). Since the system contained a large number of measurements, the resulting archive file reached approximately 1 GB by the end of the day.
Unfortunately, a 1 GB archive file could not be opened either with the File Inspector or at runtime using the Archive Revision function.
My question is: based on your experience, which archive recording mode would you recommend (cyclic or on-change)? Also, what recording interval (e.g., 15 minutes, 1 hour, etc.) and archive save interval (e.g., 1 hour, 1 day, etc.) have you found to work best?
Let's assume a system with more than 1,000 measurements, where a high level of recording accuracy is required.
Thank you in advance for your advice. Any suggestions or best practices would be greatly appreciated, as they would help us find the most suitable archive configuration for this application.
Kind regards,
